Flash Website - Version Francaise Contests Details Demos : Maximum size : 64 Mo, For those presenting a demo on another machine than PC (Amiga, Atari, C64, CPC, PSX…) One group may produce many demos, but only one per coder.
Intros : Maximum size : 64 Ko, Must be compatible ATI and NVIDIA For those presenting an intro on another machine than PC (Amiga, Atari, C64, CPC, PSX…) One group may produce many intros, but only one per coder.
Game / Software : Maximum size : 64 Mo, Must be compatible ATI and NVIDIA Game or software must be 100% workable (no preview allowed). One group may produce several games or softwares, but only one per coder.
Wild compo : Wild Compo contest is the contest where videos, computer graphics are presented Your video must be under AVI and MPEG format An other alternative to the video is the live show. Give the best of your imagination, go upon the stage… you’ll be filmed. One group may produce many Wilds but only one per Film-maker.
Gfx : Resolution 1024 X 768 in 24 bits (16 millions of colors) Maximum. In this category contest all the graphicians (raytracing, hand drawing, photoretouch etc...) Only one Gfx per graphist.
Music : Module or MP3 that could be read with Winamp 5.08 or above. Every music will enter the same category contest. No limit of time and size for music, but you should be aware that only Only one music per musician
IMPORTANT : 50% of admission fees will be given back for Contests prizes !
Real Time Contests Same as in previous SP, real time contests will be held while the SP is running, these contests are part of the Saturne spirit. This year a lot of surprising little contests will be on ( some you know well and some quite new). The goal is to participate, this is to be considered for fun so take it easy. For gamers you wont be forgotten as we'll organize competitions with old games same as Starfcraft, Duke Nukem 3D, ... A baby foot competition will also organized. Mind you we will make your neurons as well as tour muscles : So get Warmed up !!!
Tuning Contest For the first time at the Saturne Party, we will organize a tuning contest. This contest is only for fun, but will be granted with a special prize. Be part of the hall of fame, so do not hesitate to personalize your machine To enter this contest the only thing you have to do is to come with your computer at the party, we will turn around the hallroom looking for the most beautiful, bizarre, odd, funny and amazing computers. The only obligation is that your machine must be right in order to work. Photos and video of the winner could be seen on this site.
Rules Any person entering a competition must be present. Your creation must not have been displayed anywhere else. Any creations and productions must be ATI and NVIDIA compatible, in case your production doesn’t run on both of our tests machines (tests configurations will be shortly communicated ) you then won’t be able to enter the contest, but we will pass it over on the giant screen if you do agree. According the number of persons entering a contest, a selection could be settled down so in case your production is not choosen and put aside you’ll be able to take it back to display it in another party or let us the opportunity to distribute it ! The whole hallroom will vote. Any person present at the party will be then able to vote. Saturne group members will not vote and of course will not enter any contest. There will be 3 winners in each category and will receive a proportional sum of money according the
